Discord Alerts: save and send reusable messages

Create message templates with their own Discord destination, edit saved templates and send them when needed.

This guide describes the available features. Your account role, assigned modules, signed contract and network plan determine which controls you can use. Reading a guide does not change your access.

Start here

  1. Obtain the Discord webhook URL for the destination channel from the person who manages that Discord server.
  2. Open Create, enter Message title, Discord webhook URL and Message text, and optionally choose an image.
  3. Choose Save Message, then open Saved Messages to verify the saved text and destination.
  4. Choose Send on the saved message when you want it posted. Check the success or error message and the destination channel.

Create a reusable alert

Create and Saved Messages are the two tabs in this module. A saved template belongs to the network account. Users with access to this module can work with the network’s saved templates, so coordinate changes with other managers.

Every message stores its own webhook URL. A Discord channel link or invitation link is not a webhook. A webhook is a credential capable of posting to its channel; keep it within the people responsible for managing the messages.

Message title
A required title, up to 190 characters, used to identify the saved message and its embed.
Discord webhook URL
The required destination for this message. Different saved messages can target different channels.
Message text
Required message content, up to 4,000 characters.
Optional embed image
A JPG, PNG, GIF or WEBP image no larger than 5 MB.

Edit saved messages and images

Open Saved Messages, find the message and edit its Title, Webhook URL or Message text. Save Changes before sending: Send uses the saved version, not unsaved text currently typed in the editing fields.

The Current image preview shows the stored image. Replace image selects a new upload. Remove current image removes the existing image when you save. If you replace an image, check the new preview before posting.

Send and confirm the outcome

Save Message creates a reusable template; it does not post to Discord. Send posts that saved message immediately to its saved webhook. This page does not provide a recurring schedule.

A successful send produces a success message. Check the actual channel if the destination matters: the webhook determines where the alert arrives. Delete removes the saved template and its stored image; it does not recall a message already posted to Discord.

Troubleshoot a failed save or send

An empty title, empty message or invalid webhook prevents saving. Image uploads are checked by actual file type as well as size; renaming a non-image file does not make it a valid upload.

If sending fails, verify that the webhook is still valid and points at an available channel. A webhook removed from Discord must be replaced in each saved template that uses it. If the page reports an expired session token, refresh before repeating the action and check whether a previous send already arrived.

Frequently asked questions

Does Save Message send it?

No. It stores the template. Use Send in Saved Messages to post the saved content.

Can each message go to a different channel?

Yes. Each saved template has its own webhook URL.

Why did Discord receive the old wording?

Send uses the stored template. Choose Save Changes before Send after editing.

Does Delete remove a posted Discord message?

No. Delete removes this site’s saved template and image, not messages already delivered to Discord.

Still stuck? Note the page name, the step you tried and the exact message shown. Managers and sub-users should contact their network owner; owners should contact their platform administrator. Never include passwords, webhook URLs, recovery links or private identity documents in a general support message.
