Monthly Leaderboard: import, rankings and sharing

Import Backstage Creator data, compare agencies, teams and creators, and maintain the reporting data used throughout your workspace.

This guide describes the available features. Your account role, assigned modules, signed contract and network plan determine which controls you can use. Reading a guide does not change your access.

Start here

  1. As the main account, export the relevant month from TikTok Backstage Data > Creator data.
  2. In Upload Data, set Reporting month and choose one or two .xlsx or .csv files.
  3. Review Post Discord alert if it is available, then select Upload and Import.
  4. Wait for the import success message, or refresh after a background-processing message.
  5. Choose View results for and View Results, then inspect Agencies, Teams and Creators.
  6. Open Public Leaderboard to check the shareable result before copying its URL.

Who can import and what access includes

Only the network owner’s main account can upload files and manage data. All sub-users, including agency managers and team managers, are read-only on this page: they can view the available rankings and share links, but the upload controls, monthly deletion and Discord settings are available only to the owner.

Free workspaces can manually import and view basic creator details. Paid access unlocks performance values, totals, rankings, public sharing and automation. An upgrade prompt in place of a statistic is an access restriction, not an import failure.

Prepare the right export

Use Creator data from TikTok Backstage’s Data area. Choose the reporting month explicitly; the page uses your selection to determine which month receives the rows. Supported files are .xlsx and .csv, with no more than two files in one import. Preserve the original column headers when possible.

Creator identity must resolve from a username or recognised creator-name field. Include Creator ID, Creator username, display name, Group or Agency, Creator Network Manager, Diamonds, LIVE duration, Valid go LIVE days and Matches when those measurements are available. Manager email addresses support manager matching and readable team labels. Missing measurement columns can become zero values, so a file containing names alone is not a complete performance report.

Import and verify the outcome

Select the file or files and Upload and Import. A completed import reports the number of imported creators. Some imports are queued in the background; the page explicitly tells you to refresh in about a minute. Do not assume the old ranking has changed until the new month’s results or success information is visible.

Successful daily Creator Data downloads in TikTok Backstage Automation can feed this module automatically after Rookie Graduation completes. Manual upload remains available. Imports also supply the monthly history and daily snapshots used by related reports.

  1. Confirm the reporting month matches the export.
  2. Choose one or two files and review the Discord posting option.
  3. Submit once and read whether processing is complete or continuing in the background.
  4. Load that month under Leaderboard Tables.
  5. Check an identifiable creator’s diamonds, LIVE hours, valid days and matches against the source export.

Read the three ranking tabs

View results for chooses the saved reporting month. Agencies aggregates the imported agency groups; Teams aggregates manager/team labels; Creators shows individual creators and their agency. The ranking tables and podiums reflect saved imports. They are not a live connection that updates after each stream.

Monthly Totals lets you review the network-level imported measurements alongside rankings. If a team label is an email-derived name, use Backstage Managers to set its display name.

Share the leaderboard and configure Discord

Share Link provides the public leaderboard URL. Open Public Leaderboard lets you check the visitor-facing view; Copy URL or Copy Share Link copies the URL. Public visitors can read the leaderboard but cannot upload or edit your data. Keep the full generated share link so it identifies the correct network and month.

The owner can use Discord Webhook to save a valid webhook, then Send Test to verify the destination. The summary posts the top three agencies and top three creators. Manual imports send the summary when Post Discord alert is selected. A failed Discord status should be checked separately from whether the data import succeeded; do not repeat an import solely to guess whether a message was sent.

Visitor tutorial: browse the public leaderboard

The public page shows the network name and reporting month at the top. Choose Agencies, Teams or Creators. Each tab places its top three entries on a podium and lists the remaining entries below, starting at fourth place.

Use Search agencies, Search teams or the creator search in the selected tab to filter the lower table. A top-three entry remains in the podium instead of being duplicated among the lower rows. Read Diamonds, LIVE Hours, LIVE Days and Matches together. The Creators view also identifies the team and agency.

The public page has no upload form or month picker. For a different reporting month, use the correct link supplied by the network. Leaderboard not found means the full share link, account availability or required paid access needs checking by the network.

Correct a month and handle errors

No valid creator rows means the parser could not recognise usable identities. Check the export type and original headers, and confirm the file is actually .xlsx or .csv. More than two files must be split into supported submissions. A file-upload or background-processing error needs the message reviewed before you retry.

Delete Current Month Data is available to the main account with paid access. Its confirmation permanently removes that month’s leaderboard rows and upload log. It does not remove creator profiles or sub-user accounts. Verify the displayed month before confirming and keep the source export if you will need to rebuild the report.

Frequently asked questions

Why can I view the module but not upload?

Manager accounts are read-only here. Ask the main account to perform or correct the import.

Why are names visible but diamonds are locked?

Basic imported details are included in the free workspace; performance statistics and rankings require paid access.

The page says processing in the background. Should I upload again?

Wait and refresh as instructed, then check the selected month’s results. Repeating the same upload immediately makes it harder to tell which job is being reviewed.

Does deleting a month delete my creators?

No. The confirmation removes the monthly leaderboard rows and upload log, while creator profiles and sub-users remain.

Why is the public ranking older than a creator’s latest stream?

The page reflects imported performance. Check the reporting month and latest successful import.

Still stuck? Note the page name, the step you tried and the exact message shown. Managers and sub-users should contact their network owner; owners should contact their platform administrator. Never include passwords, webhook URLs, recovery links or private identity documents in a general support message.
