Creator Development Funnel: the complete 21-stage pathway
Enrol creators, complete behaviour-based stage checklists, maintain a development profile and record balanced monthly reviews.
This guide describes the available features. Your account role, assigned modules, signed contract and network plan determine which controls you can use. Reading a guide does not change your access.
Start here
- Use Choose a creator to search by creator or manager and filter the funnel status.
- Open a creator who is Not enrolled and choose Enrol creator to begin at Stage 1.
- Complete the current stage’s real-world actions, then mark the corresponding checklist items.
- When all current-stage items are complete, choose Move to Stage to continue.
- Save Profile & next action with one clear next action and a due date.
- At review time score all six dimensions, add evidence in Review note and choose Save monthly review.
Who can use the funnel and what progress means
The owner sees the network; managers see creators in their permitted hierarchy. The overview shows Visible creators, In development, At risk and Completed. Search and status filters help identify who needs the next conversation.
Enrolment starts at Recruitment & Qualification. Progress is earned by completing the displayed actions and reviews, not by reaching a diamond amount alone. Checklist labels record work that your team has actually completed; checking a training or certification item does not itself deliver a course or issue an external qualification.
Work through the current stage
The current stage shows its objective, required checklist and completed-item count. Select an item to mark it complete; selecting a completed item again clears it. The next-stage button stays disabled until every item in the current checklist is complete.
Previous stage moves back one stage when available. The stage rail and 21-stage curriculum let you navigate the page and inspect progress; clicking a stage label is not the same as changing the creator’s current stage. Overall progress is based on checklist completion across the whole curriculum.
Recent activity records enrolment, checklist and stage/profile/review actions with the actor and timestamp. Use it to understand what has already been done when another manager takes over a review.

Maintain Profile & next action
- Funnel status
- Active, Paused, At risk or Completed. This is the development workflow status.
- Primary motivation
- Community, entertainment, income, confidence, social, competition, brand or professional. Use the creator’s stated motivation.
- Experience
- New, developing or experienced.
- Creator archetype
- The content identity, such as gamer, singer, entertainer, conversational or educational; leave unselected until agreed.
- Creator buddy / mentor
- The established peer supporting the creator. This text field does not create a login or send an invitation.
- Creator goals
- What success means to this creator.
- One clear next action and Due date
- A specific observable action of up to 500 characters and the date to revisit it.
- Wellbeing pathway
- Green: manager support; Amber: welfare lead/signpost; Red: emergency/crisis pathway. This selection records the pathway; it does not automatically contact a service.
Record a balanced monthly review
Score Activity, Content quality, Engagement, Growth, Monetisation and Community / conduct from 0 to 10 each. Add a Review note explaining the evidence and next priority, then Save monthly review. The total is out of 60.
The saved classification is Thriving at 48 or more, Developing at 36–47, Needs intervention at 24–35 and At risk below 24. Review history shows the total, classification, date and reviewer. These are the funnel’s review bands, distinct from the risk radar’s 0–100 performance-decline score.
Saving the score does not mean every stage-review conversation is complete. Return to the current-stage checklist and record the discussion, feedback and agreed plan when they have actually happened.
Troubleshooting and completing the pathway
If Move to Stage is disabled, count the incomplete items in the current checklist. If the screen asks you to enrol first, choose Enrol creator before trying to record progress. An invalid next-action date must be corrected before saving.
No creators match can be caused by the status or search filter; clear these first. An outside-scope message requires the owner to review assignment. At the final stage, review the remaining tasks and the intended Funnel status in the profile; use the visible status control to record completion when appropriate.
Frequently asked questions
Do diamonds automatically move a creator forward?
No. Advancement requires completion of the current stage checklist.
Does clicking a curriculum stage advance the creator?
No. It navigates the page. Use the current-stage movement controls after completing required items.
Can I undo a checked item?
Yes. Selecting a completed checklist item clears it. Use this when the item was marked in error or needs further work.
Why is a review marked At risk here but Stable in Risk Radar?
The funnel uses six review scores out of 60. Risk Radar uses imported monthly declines and activity signals out of 100. They assess different evidence.
Does selecting the Red wellbeing pathway call an emergency service?
No. It records the chosen pathway in the profile. It does not initiate an external contact.
Does saving the monthly review automatically complete every Stage 11 item?
No. Record the actual review, discussion, feedback and plan in the checklist as each is completed.
