Your first day as a network owner
A practical setup order for a new network: activate your account, bring in creator data, organise your managers and give each person the right tools.
This guide describes the available features. Your account role, assigned modules, signed contract and network plan determine which controls you can use. Reading a guide does not change your access.
Start here
- If you are creating the network account, use Sign up and wait for administrator activation. If you are joining an existing network as a manager, ask its owner for your manager account instead.
- Sign in and open Account Settings. Check your network identity and contact details before sharing public pages.
- Open Plans & Billing to check your current access. Then locate Agency & Team Monthly Leaderboard and Creators to establish the reporting data your network will use.
- Review Managers after the import, organise the hierarchy and use Manager Module Access to assign the tools each person needs.
- Open one creator record, one reporting page and your Public Network Hub. Check the data and public presentation before inviting the whole team.
Understand the account types
The network owner is the main customer account. It owns the network settings and manages access for additional accounts. Managers, senior managers and agency/team members sign in as sub-users linked to that network. A creator appearing in your database is not automatically a website login.
Names such as Agency, Team and Senior Manager describe the structure inside your network. A Backstage manager email in an import is also used to associate creator performance with managers; check it carefully against the intended manager account.
Set up identity and access first
Use Account Settings for your own details and Plans & Billing for the current plan state and actions shown on that page. Some tools are available freely; other tools require both module permission and paid access. Payment access alone does not assign every module.
A pending account must be activated by an administrator before it can sign in. If a module is missing after activation, ask the platform administrator to check the network’s access before changing unrelated settings.
Build a reliable reporting foundation
Agency & Team Monthly Leaderboard is a key source of monthly creator and manager information. Start with the correct Backstage export and reporting month. Read that tool’s import guide before uploading; confirm the processing result before repeating an import.
Use Creators to inspect the resulting records. Check a known username, its manager and its monthly data. Rookie Graduation and Daily Diamonds have their own data flows; importing one file does not mean every chart is now populated.
- Choose one reporting month and prepare the correct export for that screen.
- Upload using the screen’s supported format and wait for its completion message.
- Review imported creator counts and any warnings.
- Compare a known creator with your source export, then check the manager association.
- Only proceed to team-wide reporting once those sample values are correct.
Prepare the team and their working tools
Open Managers to review the records created from your network data, account status and hierarchy. Use the individual access page for one person or Manager Module Access for multiple people. Grant the tools required for that person’s work.
If your network uses contracts, configure the active contract and signature requirement before onboarding managers. Managers who are required to sign may be directed to the signing screen before opening modules. Do not describe this as a failed login.
Give each manager their own sign-in details and ask them to check their visible creators. Owners and sub-users can legitimately see different totals because data visibility is scoped to their roles.
Finish with a small daily routine
Start with the dashboard, inspect changes or missing data, review recruitment and creator support, and check upcoming events. Configure optional Discord alerts only after you understand the channel and audience that will receive them.
Before sharing a public resource, creator card, event or meeting link, open the exact link and check its contents. Public links can be forwarded. Use each feature’s revoke or regenerate controls when available; removing a message elsewhere does not revoke a link.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to configure every tool before inviting a manager?
No. Start with account access, the creator data that manager needs, their hierarchy and their assigned tools. Set up optional games, automation and alerts when you are ready to use them.
Why is a paid tool still missing?
The network plan and module permissions are separate checks. A platform administrator controls the network’s modules; the owner controls manager assignments for assignable modules. Also check whether a contract signature is required.
Does importing creators send invitations to all of them?
Do not assume that a data import creates creator logins or sends invitations. Follow the specific invitation, public registration or manager account workflow for the feature you need.
Which guide should I follow after this?
Read the import guide for Agency & Team Monthly Leaderboard, then Managers and Manager Module Access. For day-to-day navigation, read Find your way around and solve common problems.
Still stuck? Note the page name, the step you tried and the exact message shown. Managers and sub-users should contact their network owner; owners should contact their platform administrator. Never include passwords, webhook URLs, recovery links or private identity documents in a general support message.
